What is your minimum Lease time? Can I lease for a few weeks?
Sorry no, our minimum lease term is 6 months.
Do I need to pay a Security Deposit?
Yes, a security deposit to the value of a three week lease is required. This will be returned to you at the end of the lease if the room is still in the great condition it was when you got it and there are no outstanding lease payments.
How wide does the access need to be?
If we are using your driveway to access where the room is going, it will need to be about 3m wide and have a height clearance of 3.3m.
What are your delivery options?
We have the option of ute and trailer with a buggy which will get into most places or, if it needs lifting over a fence and there is access for a truck, we can arrange hi-ab delivery as long as the spot for the room is within a 10m reach.
How much will delivery cost?
It depends on where you are and how complicated the delivery will be. As a general guide it $300-350 in Whangarei town area and up to $900.00 the further we go.
Can you come and have a look at where we want to put the room?
If you are based in the Whangarei area, we offer free site visits.
What happens if the door won’t open or I’m having problems with a light or power?
Give us a ring or send us a message and we will arrange for it to be fixed.
How long until I can get a room?
It depends on what we have in stock at the time. Once a security deposit and the delivery fee is deposited with us we can confirm a delivery date and time, this will vary according to availability of the transport person. It could be the same week or it might be two weeks later.
Do we need a consent?
As our rooms are portable, you shouldn’t need a consent. If you are concerned you could contact your local council for further information. It always pays to have a chat to and inform any neighbours.
